‘Floodwall’

Rondell Crier and Jana Napoli

New Orleans artists Jana Napoli and Rondell Crier are building a wall of dresser drawers left empty after the storm. An accompanying digital database documents the origin of each drawer: where it came from, and, where possible, its owner and his or her story. Napoli told CNN’s Megan Towey she hopes to take the “Floodwall” to Washington to serve as a memorial to her city and its people.
